What Is a Memory Card (Anı Kartı)? A Guide to Collecting Photos and Videos via QR Code

A Memory Card collects photos and videos from guests when they scan a QR code placed on the table. Guests download no app; here are the setup, sharing and collection steps with Biletora.

What Is a Memory Card?

A Memory Card is a digital tool that collects photos and videos from an event when a guest scans a QR code placed on the table. The guest scans the code with a phone camera, then uploads their shots from the page that opens; all content gathers into one pool in the organizer's panel. Unlike a single-use camera or assembling an album by hand, the content collects digitally and instantly without scattering.

The Biletora Memory Card stands out by working with no app download for the guest. The guest does not go to the App Store or Google Play; they scan the QR code and upload from the web page that opens. Biletora manages this feature with its Web, iOS and Android panel and offers it in the same system as invitations, RSVP, QR entry and seating plans.

How Does a Memory Card Work?

A Memory Card works by linking the QR code placed on each table to an upload page. The organizer creates the Memory Card for the event; the system generates a QR code for each table or event. When the guest scans the code with a phone camera, the photo and video upload page opens.

The flow runs in three stages:

  • Placement: The printed QR code is set on tables, or the digital code in the seating plan is shared.
  • Scanning: The guest scans the code and opens the upload page; no app download is required.
  • Collection: Uploaded photos and videos gather into one pool in the organizer's panel.

This flow gathers shots taken by different guests throughout the day into one place and prevents content from getting lost after the event.

How to Create a Memory Card?

A Memory Card is created by selecting the event in the Biletora panel and enabling the Memory Card feature. If the event is already defined in the panel, no extra setup is needed; the Memory Card links to the same event and a QR code is generated. No separate photo app, cloud account or external link is required.

The steps run in this order:

  • Select the event: wedding, engagement, henna night, graduation or corporate event.
  • Enable the Memory Card feature.
  • Generate the QR code: create a code per table or per event.
  • Print or share digitally: print the code on a table card or share it via the seating plan.

How to Collect Photos and Videos with a Memory Card?

Photo and video collection happens when the guest scans the table QR code and submits content from the upload page. The guest selects and uploads the shots taken during the event; the content lands in the organizer's panel instantly. Multiple tables and multiple guests contribute to the same event pool, so scattered content merges in one place.

On the guest side, the collection flow takes three taps: scan the QR code, pick the photo or video, upload. The guest does not need to create an account or sign in. The collected content can be used for a wedding album, social sharing or a corporate event report after the event. Uploaded personal data and images are processed for event management purposes under Turkey's KVKK (Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data).

What Are the Benefits of a Memory Card for Event Companies?

A Memory Card is an additional service line offered to clients and a digital deliverable handed over after the event for event companies and wedding planners. Alongside the shots from their professional photographer, the company adds the moments captured by guests, giving the client a wider content archive. The burden of handing out single-use cameras, developing film and collecting shots by hand disappears.

In Biletora, the Memory Card is not a standalone tool; it is a feature that works in the same panel as invitation distribution, RSVP/attendance management, QR entry control and the digital seating plan. Biletora, Turkey's first and only mobile RSVP (LCV) app, is used today by more than 150 event companies across 25 provinces. The company distributes invitations via WhatsApp and SMS, calls invitees through a call center and dedicated RSVP line operating on the company's behalf, builds the seating plan digitally and, on the event day, gathers the content guests upload via the Memory Card in the same system.

For Which Events Is a Memory Card Used?

A Memory Card is used for any event where guests are asked to share photos and videos. Weddings, engagements, henna nights, graduations and corporate events suit this tool. For multi-table events with long guest lists, a QR code on each table spreads content collection across the whole venue.

At social events such as weddings and engagements, the Memory Card gathers guest-perspective shots into one album; at corporate events, it brings together visuals captured by attendees for event content and reporting. For multi-table events in cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Bursa, the Memory Card makes content collection QR-code based.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do guests need to download an app to use a Memory Card?+

No. Guests do not download an app from the App Store or Google Play. They scan the table QR code with a phone camera and upload photos and videos from the web page that opens. There is no sign-up or login; the upload takes three taps.

What is the difference between a Memory Card and a digital invitation?+

A digital invitation is sent to the guest via link or QR and collects RSVP responses; a Memory Card collects photos and videos from guests by scanning the table QR code during the event. Both work in Biletora in the same panel, linked to the same event.

Where are the photos and videos collected with a Memory Card stored?+

All uploaded photos and videos gather into one pool in the organizer's Biletora panel. Content from different tables and different guests merges under the same event. The content is then used for an album, social sharing or a corporate report after the event.

Is Memory Card data processed in line with KVKK?+

Yes. Images uploaded by guests and related personal data are processed for event management purposes under Turkey's KVKK (Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data). The content is viewed through the panel with defined access for the host and the event company.
